There Could Be A Winter ‘Love Island’ On The Horizon

Winter Love Island
Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen came fourth on Love Island (ITV)

Update: Touted as the ‘Winter Love Island’, ‘Survival Of The Fittest’ will launch in early 2018 on ITV2.

Just when we thought our social lives might have to revolve outside of Whatsapp later this year, Chloe Crowhurst goes and drops this major piece of TV gossip on us.

There could be a ‘Winter Love Island’ on the horizon, and we’re already breaking out the Christmas onesies in celebration.

Whether this means they’ll be flying contestants half-way round the world to get somewhere warm enough to break out the bikinis, or whisking them off to a steamy ski chalet in the Austrian Alps?

Crowhurst teased the possibility of the new show later this year at a quiz night in Essex at La Sala. She spoke about the presenting gig she did on ‘This Morning’ last week, saying:

“I love doing ‘This Morning’ and they loved having me.”
