Who knew a foundation could be so popular? I mean, Charlotte Tilbury – we get it, Naked palettes? Sure. But a foundation that hasn’t even launched yet already has a 5,000 people long waiting list! Absolutely insane.
You might have heard about the brand before – whether through word of mouth, online beauty tutorials or from Instagram. Huda Kattan – the beauty blogger who also goes by the more recognisable, Huda Beauty, has not only built her whole empire around her name – the woman is even launching her very own foundation line.
Now while that’s great news for her, for the rest of us who might actually want to get one to try, unfortunately you’ve got to join a very LONG waitlist – 5,000 people to be exact.
Ironically, no one is really surprised by this, because her products are always a pretty huge success.
Over on her blog, Huda wrote:
“Words cannot describe how excited I am for everyone to try this foundation – and I really mean everyone! This was a project developed so that every single person could feel and look beautiful in their own skin. We took ages to perfect everything, from the shade and the formula to our campaign images.
“It really was super important that every person should be able to wear our foundation, no matter what their skin tone, undertone, or skin type”
The #FauxFilter Foundation will have 30 different shades, ranging from Milkshake (almost porcelain skin) to Hot Fudge (very dark skin tone) – so that’s pretty decent.
While it launches on 13 October in Sephora, UK fans can purchase ours from Cult Beauty for £32 for a 35ml bottle. All that’s left to do is be patient and join the waiting list!
