This year’s British weather has been glorious. But with the arrival of rain, you may be thinking of looking further afield to catch some serious rays.

So whether you’re planning what to do with your summer off  from uni or just need an escape before autumn, we’ve rounded up some of the prettiest and cheapest holiday destinations to get your travel fix. Oh, and they’ll look great on your ‘gram too.

You won’t be able to resist snapping the colourful seafront buildings or kitsch trams, which draw around 4 million people to the region every year. Hop on a return flight from around the £100 mark and grab a bed at a low-key guesthouse for around £50 per night.
