Calling all halloumi lovers! This November, you will be able to say ‘Hallou-mi’ to a new pop-up restaurant at East London’s 100 Hoxton.
Set up by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation to showcase Cyprus’ national cheese, the pop-up’s menu will be created especially for the event by chef Francis Puyat. Dishes will halloumi cauliflower fritters, halloumi flatbread and crumbed halloumi fingers with chilli jam.
And for dessert? Halloumi ice cream. Hurrah!
At Shevolution, we were sold when halloumi ice cream was mentioned. But if you still need convincing, Cypriot inspired cocktails such as a Bloody Mary or a Cilantro and Ginger Martini will also be available. Hurrah!
The Halloumi Pop-up will open for one week only from 13th -19th November at 100 Hoxton, 100-102 Hoxton Street, Hoxton, N1 6SG.
