While we were shivering on freezing beach fronts up and down the UK, Miranda Kerr was soaking up the sun and getting remarried in an intimate ceremony in south California to gorgeous Snapchat founder, Evan Spiegel.
The 34-year-old model, who divorced Orlando Bloom in 2013, wed the 26-year-old social media mogul in a private event attended by just 40 guests. They were later chauffeured to Spiegel’s home, where the celebrations continued.
“For a small wedding, it has been a huge production,” a source told PEOPLE magazine. “The wedding and reception are intimate, but lavish and classy. Miranda has been very involved. She has great taste and knew exactly what she wanted. She is very sweet. She is ecstatic to marry Evan.”
The pair first met at a Louis Vuitton dinner in 2014. Which is also how we meet all of our partners. One of those statements was a lie.
They were first pictured together in LA in June 2015.
They got engaged in July last year, making the announcement public on, you guessed it, Snapchat.
Interestingly, Kerr opened up to The Times of London about the couple’s decision to wait until marriage to have sex, despite the fact Kerr already has a child, Flynn, from her previous marriage to Bloom.
“My partner is very traditional,” she said, adding, “We can’t . . . I mean we’re just . . . waiting.”
