Keira Knightly has posed a very important question ahead of the highly-anticipated Love Actually sequel: Which cast member has aged the best?
Keira appears alongside a host of familiar faces from the hit 2003 movie in a final trailer ahead of its big return on Friday night (24 March), and it has definitely got us all talking.

Again, using the film’s famous ‘Mark And His Cards’ sequence, Keira holds one up that asks: “Amongst other things, which one of us has aged the best?”
Although his co-star doesn’t actually appear in the 50-second clip, Hugh Grant is shown holding a card that reads: “It certainly isn’t Colin Firth.” Meaow!
But tbh, we don’t actually care. We’re too interested in Thomas Brodie-Sangster, 26, who played Sam, and his on-screen love interest Joanna, played by 24-year-old Olivia Olson.
As Thomas proudly boasts in the trailer, the pair have grown up since the festive film first hit the big screen and we have huge questions that need answering.
- Did Sam pursue a career as a drummer and has Joanna therefore spent years fending off groupies?
- Did Joanna give Sam the green light to grow his hair that long?
- Will Mariah Carey clear a gap in her schedule to sing ‘All I Want For Christmas’ at their wedding? Providing they are still together, that is. Obvs.
We’re not convinced these questions will get answered in the 10-minute Red Nose Day special but, nevertheless, we will be tuning in to find out what happened to everyone.
