What to expect from season 8

The final season is surrounded with secrecy, but based on the ending of season 7, it is likely that season 8 will be focused on the final battle between the living and the dead.

All the lead actors (including Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Headey (Cersei Lannister), Harington (Jon Snow), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) will return and according to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister),  a few characters could be turned to the side of the undead.

In an interview with Esquire.com, he said “You know some of the main characters are going to get turned. There are going to be some blue-eyed main characters running around.”

And the ending? actress Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) has described the ending as “incredibly emotional” and “very satisfying” while Harington said it made him “really emotional.”

“I cried at the end!” he told Alex Jones and Ricky Wilson on The One Show. “We had the read-through last week, in fact, so I know everything now.”
