You can always count on Lady Gaga to make a big statement – and what better time to climb on top of a football stadium made to look like a wasteland of burnt out American flags and sing ‘God Bless America’ than at the Super Bowl?
The pop star’s epic 13-minute performance in Houston, Texas kicked into gear as dramatically as ever, as she threw herself off of the stadium roof dressed as a space cowgirl. With aerial wires, thankfully. She didn’t just plummet.
As pitch-perfect as ever, plus a few costume changes and a tinker on a grand piano, she flew through hits such as ‘Poker Face’, ‘Telephone’ (sans Beyoncé, sadly), and ‘Million Reasons’, before ending on a ‘Bad Romance’ finale.
