Katie Piper Drops Her First Clothing Collection In Time For Summer
Katie Piper has added another string to her bow after launching her debut clothing range – and she is donating some of the profit to charity.
The inspirational star, 33, has turned fashion designer and dropped her very own collection, and the best bit is, it caters for all women and also supports her own Katie Piper Foundation.
A total of 36 pieces are in Katie’s spring/summer 2017 haul and they come in sizes six through t0 24. All too often, celebrity clothing lines are limited in size, so this one definitely gets our seal of approval.
The mum-of-one, who has seemingly effortless style, has teamed up with Want That Trend for The Katie Piper Collection and has mostly opted for pieces in classy navy, white and blush tones, with the odd pop of colour thrown in.
Katie has also handpicked everything from peplums to bodycon to maxi dresses and believes the collection very much reflects her own fashion tastes.
And if that’s not enough to get you logging on and snapping it up, £1 from ever sale will be donated to The Katie Piper Foundation, which supports people with burns, disfigurements and scars.
Katie tells Shevolution: “Being able to express myself through fashion has always been very important to me, so I couldn’t be more excited to launch my own collection.
“We all have body hang-ups, particularly as our bodies change after motherhood, but with the variety of styles within my collection I hope that every woman is able to find that perfect dress to make her feel like a million dollars!”
Katie suffered life-changing injuries in a horrific attack in 2008. The TV star’s ex-boyfriend had arranged for an accomplice to throw sulphuric acid in her face as she walked down the street in London.
Since then Katie has undergone countless operations and procedures, but she has continued to use her experience to help others inspire and encourage others.
Along with her Foundation, Katie – who presents Channel 4’s ‘Bodyshockers’ – regularly reaches out to victims of acid attacks and she has penned several books.
We wish her all the best with her latest venture in the fashion world.
