In the most random entertainment news we’ve seen this week, Star Wars and Star Trek director J.J. Abrams is creating a TV series about the life of RuPaul.
The star’s own program, ‘Drag Race’, is one of the most popular reality TV shows in the world.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Abrams’ version of the RuPaul story will be semi-autobiographical, and chart his rise from New York club kid and drag queen to international fame.
Abrams will work on it as a producer, alongside RuPaul himself as executive producer.
