Move over bindis. Back of the class, cheek stencils. Glitter tears is the new festival beauty trend that doesn’t involve fiddly precision or cultural appropriation.

The hippy goth’s favourite new technique is sure to add camp drama to your look, and detract attention from any hungover undereyes, building dirt and unwashed hair.

Apply it trickling down from the bottom of your eyelids for a full on sparkling sob, or shape your tears using petroleum gel and an angled eyeliner brush before patting loose glitter directly on top of it.
