Ever heard of the phrase, “Too much cheese”? Course you haven’t, because there’s no such thing!
What if we could tell you that all your cheesy dreams have finally been answered, and for one day only, you can eat all the cheese you’ve ever wanted?
Interested? Here’s what you need to know…
Right before Christmas, Studio 338 – part of the Greenwich events space – will be hosting a HUGE cheese festival across three arenas.
And what’s the main attraction? A giant cheese board of course! It’ll be in the newly renovated terrace arena.
You’ll be able to walk around said cheese board and on your travels, sample some of the artisan cheeses on offer. Sounds absolutely delish to us!
This is the best bit: anyone with a ticket will be entitled to UNLIMITED FREE CHEESE while you wander round this delightful festival. But don’t worry, no one will expect you to chomp on a big lump of cheese – biscuits will be provided, as will mulled wine to wash it all down. And if you fancy dessert, you can finish off your cheesy day with a cheesecake.
Man-sized mice will be on hand to serve you all this gooey-greatness, and you’ll even come across a double height fireplace to snuggle up and keep warm.
The event organisers describe it perfectly, “Think ‘Honey, I Shrunk The Kids’, if they were lucky enough to find themselves in a cheese and wine heaven” – we were thinking more life-size Tom and Jerry, but we can roll with this idea too.
There’ll even be DJs playing your fave cheesy anthems for you to dance the night away until the early hours.
But what if dairy isn’t really your thing? The organisers have thought of everything. A selection of vegan-friendly alternatives will be available for anyone who doesn’t (or can’t) eat cheese.
So when and where can you visit this glorious festival?
Here is all that key info you’ll need:
