Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann has deleted all trace of her boyfriend Arthur Collins as police continue to track him in connection with an acid attack in London.

Ferne regularly posted pictures of herself and Arthur on social media and recently shared several Snapchat videos of them both enjoying a holiday together in the Maldives.

However, after confirmation that detectives wish to speak to him following the shocking incident at Wringer & Mangel, Ferne has removed all pictures of Arthur from her profiles and not updated fans on any of her activities for several days.

Arthur Collins, 25, of Hertforshire is wanted by police

Ferne’s rep released a statement on Wednesday morning, confirming that she was not at the nightclub when the attack happened on Sunday (16 April).

The incident followed and argument between two people and saw a corrosive substance being sprayed into the crowd, injuring more than 20 people. Two, aged 24 and 29, are still receiving treatment in a specialist burns hospital in Essex.

TOWIE star Chloe Meadows was in the club at the time, along with cast mates Jamie Read and his girlfriend Jade Lewis.

One fan has since tweeted: “Hoping you’re all okay @Chloemeadows, @jamiereed_ & @JadeTLewis ! What happened in London was horrible, just hoping nothing happened to u.”

An address in Hertfordshire was raided on Monday night by officers carrying out an arrest warrant in connection with the attack.

A spokesman for Ferne has since told The Telegraph: “Ferne is aware that the police wish to speak to Arthur Collins and the nature of the accusations against him.

“Obviously these are highly shocking and Ferne has co-operated with the police in their inquiries.

“She was not with Arthur on Sunday night; was not at Mangle; and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded.

“As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately.”

This week, Ferne and Arthur are gracing the cover of OK!. Inside, she told the magazine: “We’ve spoken about our wedding. We want to get married on a beach. I want it to be a party and a celebration.

“I want these long extensions, mermaid-style hair covering my boobs, with flowers in my hair and no shoes.

“He can wear shorts and a shirt undone, then we want an amazing DJ with bongos and a saxophonist. Lobster brioche buns – just so unconventional.”

She also said they have plans to move in together in May. The couple have been dating for several months.
