Woe betide us to indulge in relationship gossip, but this particular snippet of romantic information was just too much to stay quiet about. Chloe Green, the daughter of Topshop boss Sir Philip Green and a billion pound heiress, is currently dating Jeremy Meeks, the “world’s hottest felon” who left prison last year and walked straight into a six-figure modelling contract.
The pair were snapped via a long lens enjoying a cosy time together on one of Sir Philip’s super yachts off the coast of Turkey over the weekend.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate (laugh at) some fine Daily Mail prose on the images:
“The intimate yacht pictures show Jeremy gently holding onto Chloe’s face, with the heavily inked catwalk star looking handsome in green board shorts as Chloe wrapped her arms around his muscular waist, with her wavy caramel locks flowing down her back.
“The pair shared a moment looking into each other’s eyes before moving their public display of affection to a deck chair.
“There, they cosied up with Chloe shooting a seductive glance Jeremy’s way as she reclined into his lap and puffed on a cigarette, while the model got within pecking distance of her lips.”
Meeks, who earlier this year celebrated his eight-year wedding anniversary with his (now presumably estranged) wife, became an unlikely fashion star after his mugshot when viral. The former gang member was serving a two-year jail sentence for being in possession of a semi-automatic weapon. He was released last year and claims to have “found God”.
He is believed to have met Chloe, former shoe designer and ‘Made In Chelsea’ star, at Cannes Film Festival a month ago.
Chloe, known for her “out there” romances (Marc Anthony, anyone? Ollie Locke? Fazer from N-Dubz?), has since posted a couple of stinging Instagram responses to the leaked shots.
“Just the Beginning… We appreciate all the love and the hate,” she wrote alongside an image of the couple and Meeks’ manager, Jim Jordan, half of whose head you can see to the right in the image at the top of the article.
Best of luck to them both? Is that what people say after really intrusive articles? No idea.
