Little Mix, Maroon 5 and Clean Bandit are among the list of ace music acts confirmed for this year’s Capital FM Summertime Ball.
Former X Factor winners Little Mix have spent a considerable amount of time in the US recently, having supported Ariana Grande on her The Dangerous Woman Tour, but they are now back on home turf and gearing up for the event.
“Anyone that’s seen Perrie, Jesy, Jade and Leigh-Anne perform live knows this fierce foursome can seriously control an 80,000-strong crowd at Wembley – and you guys were tweeting in your thousands asking us whether they would be performing again this year,” Capital FM said in a statement.
“Fresh off the success of their recent hits, including ‘No More Sad Songs’ featuring Machine Gun Kelly, Little Mix are going to be bringing their sass and energy to Capital’s Summertime Ball with Vodafone in just a few weeks time.”
Fellow Brit band Clean Bandit are also set to take to the stage at London’s Wembley Stadium, while American group Maroon 5 will be jetting in especially from across the pond.
Capital FM has spent the week slowly confirming the lineup for this year’s Ball, which take place next month. Other big names include Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Zara Larsson and Louisa Johnson. Stormzy and Sean Paul have also been announced.
It sounds like it is going to be a corker!
Capital FM’s Summertime Ball will shake up Wembley Stadium on Saturday 10 June 2017 and tickets are on sale now.
