Cara Delevingne’s endless quest to quit modelling for good has thus far seen her star as an actress in several movies. The most memorable of which was in Suicide Squad alongside Margot Robbie, Jared Leto and Will Smith.

Now, she’s added another string to her bow by penning her first novel. Though not without a little co-writing help from best-selling author of ‘The Memory Book’, Rowan Coleman.

Written for young adults, ‘Mirror, Mirror’ is set to be published by Orion imprint Trapeze in October this year.

Cara said she “loved” the process of shaping individual characters and building a narrative.

“I am so proud and I cannot wait for everyone to read this collaboration between me and one of my favourite writers.”

Barely anything has been made public about the plot so far, but it has been billed as a “gripping and twisty coming-of-age story that explores identity, sexuality, friendship and betrayal, with a killer mid-point twist”.

Cara also teased some sort of collaboration with Chanel too, but that’s been done, so we’re way less interested:

Coming soon…. @chanelofficial
