Kylie Jenner has described her new reality series ‘Life Of Kylie’ as an extended “therapy” session.
The US star has assured fans that the show is not like ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, adding that viewers will get to see who she really is.
Kylie made the comments in a new trailer for her docu-series, which is set to hit TV screens this July, and she is very clear about the message she is sending to fans.
“When you grow up on camera, everybody feels like they know you. But they don’t,” Kylie says.
“I feel like a lot of people have misconceptions of who I am. I started filming ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ when I was nine years old.
“There two sides to me. There’s an image that I feel constantly pressured to keep up with and who I really am around my friends.”
Kylie adds: “This show is a gift for my fans. I do feel pressure to not let anyone down. I can’t do it forever.
“This isn’t ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ – this is like a therapy session.
“Now I can find what really is going to make me happy. I’m Kylie and this is my life.”
The trailer consists of a montage of clips, showing Kylie as a nine-year-old and as the 19-year-old woman she is today.
It also gives viewers a sneak peek at the moment she took a fan to prom, after he was rejected by his classmates.
Kylie announced news of her reality series last month and fans cannot wait for it to hit screens. One tweeted: “We are finally going to see the real her.” Another has since added: “Omgggggg. I’ll probably watch it.”
Luckily for our US friends, ‘Life Of Kylie’ premieres Stateside on 6 July. Unfortunately for us, we’ve got to wait until 30th July to catch up.
But you know what they say, all good things come to those who wait. (It had better be good!)
